Hospital temperature monitoring

Live, wireless, automated

Continuous, wireless monitoring for pharmacy refrigerators, blood bank freezers, lab ULTs, and every other temperature-critical unit in your hospital.

  • Real-time alerts
  • Audit-ready reports in 3 clicks
  • ISO-accredited calibration included
The problem

Fragmented hospital monitoring

  • Manual data collection

Manual data transfer, monitoring, deviations, calibrations, and reporting eats up resources that could – and should – be used for patient care and more valuable work.

  • Delayed deviation detection

Misaligned, paper-based, and delayed processes lead to errors, traceability gaps, and increased risk of – and worries about – non-compliance.

  • Complex audits

Hand-held temperature monitoring, data spread across sheets and systems, and inconsistent processes make audits both time-consuming and risk-filled.

  • Lack of visibility

Manual errors and no live insights into conditions and across pharmacy, lab, blood bank, and OR means compliance issues, redundant work, and stressful audits.

The solution

Wireless, automated hospital temperature monitoring

  • Fully automated monitoring
  • 3-click audit reports
  • Calibration in seconds

All the quality, none of the chaos.

FAQ about temperature monitoring in hospitals

Does Eupry's hospital temperature monitoring system meet Joint Commission requirements?

Yes. Eupry provides continuous digital monitoring, configurable alarms, audit trails, and NIST-traceable calibration certificates – the core evidence Joint Commission surveyors request under Medication Management and Environment of Care standards.

Is the system compliant with the CDC Vaccine Storage and Handling Toolkit requirements?

Yes. Eupry's data loggers record at the intervals CDC and VFC expect and ship with NIST-traceable ISO 17025 calibration certificates.

What temperature ranges does the blood bank monitoring cover?

Whole blood and red blood cells at 1 to 6 °C, platelets at 20 to 24 °C with agitation, and frozen plasma at or below −18 °C. Each Eupry sensor is configured to the AABB-aligned range for its storage type. See all sensors in the catalog.

Does Eupry support the AABB 30-minute rule?

Yes. Excursion events are timestamped and attributed, so blood bank supervisors can document whether a unit was out of controlled storage for more than 30 minutes.

Does Eupry monitor humidity and differential pressure?

Yes, in addition to temperature. Humidity and differential pressure monitoring is available for USP <797>/<800> compounding rooms, operating rooms, and isolation rooms. CO2 monitoring is available for incubators and research labs.

How often does the hospital temperature monitoring system need to be calibrated?

Depends on your requirements, but typically every year. Eupry's patented sensor-tip calibration lets internal staff handle calibration in seconds. ISO 17025-accredited calibration certificates generate automatically. Learn more about the calibration solution.

Can the system be used across multiple hospital sites?

Yes. The platform gives central quality or pharmacy leadership a single view across every facility, department, and unit, with role-based access for local teams.

Is the system validated for electronic records?

Yes. The platform is validated for FDA 21 CFR Part 11, which matters for hospitals running clinical trials, specialty pharmacy, or sterile compounding operations.
